The 2027 Erase the Need Expo is set for Tuesday, March 2nd, 2027, from 8 AM-4 PM at First Baptist Monroe. (109 West Morrow Ave, Monroe) The Expo is held on a Teacher Work Day during the UCPS spring Professional Development Day.
Online donations accepted year-round! In-person donations accepted February 1st-27th, 2027, at the following locations:

- American Bank Marshville, 7003 E Marshville Blvd, Marshville, Office Hours 9 AM-5 PM
- Huntington Learning Center Weddington, 5945 Weddington Rd #104, Matthews, Office Hours 11 AM-8 PM Monday-Thursday

For Teachers
Through our partnership with Classroom Central, Erase the Need will serve educators at UCPS schools where 50% or more of students are identified as economically disadvantaged. Classroom Central uses the most recent available state education data to determine eligibility and reviews the list annually. This shared eligibility standard helps ensure that free classroom supplies are directed to the schools and students experiencing the greatest need.
For Volunteers
Give a few hours. Make a big difference. Volunteers help bring Erase the Need to life by sorting and organizing supplies, stocking shelves, welcoming educators, and helping our shopping day run smoothly. Whether you volunteer on your own, with coworkers, or as a group, your time helps us make teachers feel supported, appreciated, and ready to finish the school year strong!
